On 11 October 2018, CAS International Network under CAS International Professional Development Center (CASIPDC), has organized a Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) Update Seminar at Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort, Selangor. This seminar has been conducted by Mr. J Selvarajah, which also the Chairman of CAS International. We have received 43 registrations from our Member firms and also local firms around Kuala Lumpur.

This seminar aims to help our participants to gain practical knowledge of the key financial reporting issues in MPERS, including the impact of transitional provisions on current and comparative financial statements and learn the principles of the Standards through application of over 40 actual case studies on MPERS in Malaysia. On top of that, the participants are more understand how specific sections of Companies Act, 2016 impact the financial statements, the implications for Directors and officers of companies where financial statements do not follow the recognition, measurement and disclosure requirements prescribed by MPERS and get a good understanding of the impact of Companies Act, 2016 and the Revised Auditor’s Reports on the individual Sections of MPERS financial reporting requirements.
We would like to express our gratitude to all participants for the support!
